dont go all wild on insurance

This is just a mistake I think a lot of players are making at the online casino and because I’m such a people person, I would to share this with you, hoping that you my friend, will not make the insurance mistake. So, one of the worst plays you can make is insuring a hand of 20 made up of two 10’s. What you’re actually doing is insuring yourself against the dealer having a 10 when you’ve already reduced the odds of him having one by having two yourself. Listen, don’t you already pay enough on car insurance?

Another mistake is choosing the wrong play when the dealer shows an ace and could be holding a possible Blackjack. Ok, now lets say you have a blackjack and that dealer the dealer has that ace- at this point you can still purchase insurance. Many players fear having a push forced on them and end up taking ‘even money’. Taking Insurance on your Blackjack vs a Dealer’s Ace is called ‘even money’ because regardless of the Dealer’s hand, you will take an ‘even money’ payout of 1-1 on your blackjack. They say that you learn from your mistakes, but you also lose lots o’ money.
